Once again, I've been a bad, bad blogger! You wouldn't believe the stuff I come across on a daily basis. Do I ever share though? Am I getting lazy and careless about what matters to me? YIKES! I need to check myself...
Jeremiah Baumann, Environment Oregon Advocate:
"Wouldn't it be great if there was a debate on the environment?
Don't get me wrong -- I was happy to hear the presidential candidates spend a full question on renewable energy and climate change.
But what if our candidates -- for president and for Congress -- spent a whole debate on the environmental issues that matter so much to us?
It might be too late to schedule another debate for this election cycle. But now there is a virtual forum for candidates to answer environmental questions.
Environment America, the national federation that includes Environment Oregon, has partnered with several other environmental groups to find out where the candidates stand during this important election -- but it's up to you to ask!

The online forum is a great opportunity to not only hear the candidates' answers to your environmental questions, but to put them on record, so that once they're elected, we can hold their feet to the fire.
First things first, though: we have to get them to answer the questions.
Check out the CandidAnswers site today. The more we ask, the more likely the candidates are to answer.

Your participation will form the foundation of our work for the next couple of years: promoting bold policies on clean energy, global warming and protection of our natural environment.
We hope you find this resource helpful leading up to Election Day. Of course, feel free to share it with friends and family.
Thanks for making it all possible.
