Toxins Anyone?

Although I have been a avid believer, but not a true follower of not using plastic bottles for my water consumption, I've been up in the air about the use of things like non-stick pans. I know some "people" who for years have been warning me of the danger of dang things.

Today on Yahoo! Green (yeah! I didn't know it existed!) I ran across an "Ask Umbra" article, Petered Pans: On green cookware. On the short, she says, "no" to non-stick and says it is "Better to go with durable, non-off gassing cookware. For stove top cooking, these could be made from glass, cast iron, plain aluminum, anodized aluminum, stainless steel, copper, or any of those materials in combination"

Umbra seems to support her position in a very sound manner. From toxins expelled to lawsuits won due to these pans, it's all covered. There is even a great Health Canada link to help give you further in-depth information on the non-stick alternatives.
