Aroma

I fully understand the whole concept of "clean" not having a smell. That said, I still am loving Method all purpose cleaner: french lavender. It works great, smells great and is non-toxic.

The only store that I knew sold Method prior to checking their site was Target. Unfortunately, all of the stores near me do not carry the laundry line- all of which are liquid products. Probably all is well since my machine does better with powder (that's another story.) ~It's really been difficult for me to find a quality eco-friendly laundry detergent in powder form.

After checking the Method's directory of stores, I found there to be a variety of retailers. When I have some spare (ha ha) time, I'll have check out some of the other stores.

I am so with you on the 'method' products. Love them! Glad you were able to locate some.

I tried some Seventh Generation offerings (dishwasher detergent and laundry powder). I know they're supposed to be great, but I wasn't all that enchanted.

I experienced soap residue on my dishware/glassware when water was added (doesn't make for good tea..), and the laundry detergent caused my family adverse skin reactions. I had itchy rashes on my shins that I'm still hoping will heal come spring--when I'll be showing a little leg again! :-)

Long live 'method'! And long live your blog. Be encouraged and keep up the great work. I learn much from you in this space. Thank you!

I didn't see your comment until I had already posted my last blog about Seventh Generation products. The only product that I have used of theirs is the dish liquid soap (not the machine one.) I'm glad I got to read your consumer review on their products before making a future purchase! Thank YOU! :):):)
