103.3

John Tesh was doing a little blurb on 103.3, a local radio station, on Friday night about expiration dates. Most were about things that I am already aware of. This includes the recommendation to replace your mattress approximately every 7 years. Springs wear out and no longer support your spine properly. Also, by this point, beds supposedly double in weight from the build up of skin, dust mites, oils, etc. Yum.

Great! Assuming we can all afford a nice new mattress every 7 years... where are we supposed to dispose of our old mattress so that we aren't filling our dumps with unnecessary crap? One option is to donate it. Not a bad idea. However, why do we think it is okay for strangers to sleep on something we think is not up to standard for us personally? Gross.

Gotta be some options my friends! Hummmmm... I'll do my research!
