Refill Me

Today I was in search of organic shampoo and conditioner. At first I thought that I'd go the Aveda route, but I realize there are many more options to be explored. In fact, I love the Baby Burt's Bees line that I use on my kids. Thanks to the helpful lady at Whole Foods, I was able to bring home samples of a few different product lines.

Well, the hunt for haircare products got me on a recycling query. I am buying a product that is good for everyone all around, however, it is still being packaged in plastic. It kills me to imagine how much plastic I contributed to landfills. Instead of imagining... I found GoodExperience.com...interesting.


After doing a short little Google search, I found the solution: reuse the plastic containers. It hadn't occurred to me that I could ask to have my containers refilled. My next step is finding a local business that will meet my refill needs.
