After reading my blog about baby diapers, a friend of mine gave me a lesson on the use of cloth menstrual pads. This is obviously not a new concept since commercial disposable pads have not been around forever and females have. Visit Menstrual Pad History and you might learn more than you'd expect.
Just think of the money you would save and the landfill waste you'd prevent by adopting a cotton lifestyle. Plus, products are organic! ... and, if cotton doesn't sound appealing, there are other alternatives such as menstrual cups.
