Freecycle
My newest "thing" is to join Freecycle. How great is it that there are groups out there where you can give and recieve unused or unwanted items?!!! Check out Freecycle to find a network near you. Hey, isn't one person's trash, another person's treasure? Reduce some trash... You never know what can give or find!

I once belonged to Freecycle here in Atlanta. Was able to exchange a number of things. Got an extra car seat for my son that came in handy at the time. Ultimately unsubscribed because my email inbox became innundated by Freecycle posts--mostly of "wants". Maybe folks are behaving better now and I can consider rejoining, given the reminder from your post.

I haven't checked it out yet, but my originally email welcoming me to Freecycle had this at the bottom:
"We strongly encourage you to set your account to NO EMAILS or DAILY
DIGEST. This is a very high-volume list."
I definitely get a mass of emails!
