Goal: to begin using resusable shopping bags immediately. This is something that I had intended on doing last spring after purchasing my first reusable bag at Trader Joes. I thought it was the coolest thing how you can buy insulted bags for your cold and frozen foods.
Check out the counter on the top of the page at reusablebags.com. It's an ongoing counter of plastic bags used this year. The site offers information on bags and sells a variety too. As for me, I'll be going to the thrift store where a saw a mass of canvas bags a few weeks ago. I believe they are still waiting there for me... little do they know that I'll be turning them inside out.

I went to an organic produce stand at an outdoor festival today, and felt pretty "un-with it" stuffing garlic, green peppers and eggplant in my already full diaper bag...
That's a clever idea you have: going to the thrift store in search of a fabulous bag. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled with such an intention.
